DESCRIPTION:
Once, a book I could read Twice. Elizabeth C. Hamilton I received this book for a Christmas gift. It was a little slow to start but once I got through the first 20 pages it picked up. Its a great book to read after a break up or at the start of a new relationship. I could relate to the characters. I recommend this book and look forward to reading more of this author's.. I loved it. Take it home to meet the family First off, this review will not read as a “Verified Purchase” because I bought the book from another vendor (I had a gift card). I wanted to put that out there, even at the risk of angering our beloved Amazon overlords, to address those people who look at a gushing (Yeah, I’m about to do that. Sorry.) non-verified purchase review and think that it must be from the author’s mother or t. Towanda said Connecting with readers like me. When an author as L. T. Smith makes you feel so close to her as she does when she writes, the reader is trapped without any chance of closing the book and run away. That may be called connection. How is that? You may ask. Let's see: L. T. Smith's writing is original, funny, entertaining and leaves you with a smile chapter after chapter even though there is a drama going on between the book's lines. It's like
the woman whom she believes would never want more than friendship. 'Whether you feel the victim or the offender, you might, in fact, be a little of both.' Once upon a time, there was a woman called Beth Chambers. She wasn't a princess, by any stretch of the imagination, nor did she live in a fairytale kingdom far far away. After four years in a destructive relationship, Beth decides enough is enough. Then she meets Amy Fletcher, the woman who has it all . What she did have was a broken relationship, a broken spirit, and a shattered view of life. But what she fails to realise is that everything is relative, and there is definitely two sides to every story.
