This is a very well written book that covers a lot of aspects of the downfall of railroading in general that ultimately led to the demise of the Penn-Central. I am very impressed with this book and level of information it contains. I have over 100 railroad history books and this is in the top 10. I say that as it is very enjoyable to read, well written and contains tons of pertinent information. I highly recommend this book!
