Maybe that's why I can't quite see the organizing and collecting principle for this book. I'm not 100% sure of its purpose, other than to present some very cool ink. For that, it's just fine. I don't regret buying it; I'm just not enthusiastic about it.. "You'll LOVE this book" according to S. Malley. Funny to think I've been buying this book for twenty years now. Any time I bring a copy to work, it 'wanders off'- this book is just catnip for tattoo lovers!These days, the 'modern' tattooing section looks a bit dated, but the work is still gorgeous. And these days, I give copies as gifts
