DESCRIPTION:
Nick P. said Okay book, but not very accurate. Most of the Hands-On activities no longer work. We use them for course homework and lots of the links are just dead now and most things aren't compatible with Windows 7. They are still, however, good homework assignments as I've learned a lot. You just have to find your own versions of the software for a lot of these things and figure out how to do the same tasks on your own.The chapter readings are just alright as well. The information is very thorough, and accurate for the most part. There are several circumstances where my pr. DOES NOT WORK WITH KINDLE APP FOR WINDOWS 8 I am very unhappy with this purchase. I need this book for class and now I can't use it unless I buy another device. I use the Kindle app on my computer. There was no warning before I bought this book alerting me that it will not work with the Windows 8 app.. Great content but riddled with errors and typos USFBullsFan2819 The content of the book is fantastic. I used this for a 6 week Master's course at Boston University in Business Network Communications. I learned a ton of stuff from this book and found it very thorough. However, there were many typos and errors that were hard to ignore. Once page even had a sentence end mid-sentence. The next edition, I understand, fixes many of these errors, but it was very disappointing to see that this many errors "slipped through" the 11th edition.

The 11th edition of FitzGerald and Dennis' Business Data Communications and Networking focuses on more comprehensive updating, as well as more hands-on and applied exercises. In general, this text has more details in many chapters, specific updates, and updated illustrations.
