Now that I have both, I can begin serious research of the various methods and materials and set those dreams in motion. I have a couple other well-acclaimed books on the topic of wooden boat building, but they are focused on details of design, engineering and frame structure which is good, but they was too detailed an. Well written and a nice coffe table book but definitely not the lexicon of traditional methods I was hoping for Provides a concise overview of the basic construction methods but does not provide any detail on practical low-tech historical methods like I was hoping for.
