"This is a good read if you want to know which hotel burned" according to Tech Shopper Ken. The author of this Inland Water Route book makes consistent references throughout the book which indicate he does not understand that the rivers in this system flow OUT to Lake Huron. FYI - The Cheboygan River does NOT empty into Mullett Lake and the mouth end of the Indian River is NOT at Burt Lake. There is no lighthouse which marks the BEGINNING of the Cheboygan River.This is a good read if you want to know which hotel burned down in which year.. Must have for "Up North" brown61dawg Loved the book, it really helped me understand the history of the "Tip o' The Mitt". Having a place on the inland waterway made this more special.. "Five Stars" according to Swayrc51. Excellent good quality book that was enjoyable to read and made a perfect gift.
