DESCRIPTION:
Jonathan Watkins is a self-made Silicon Valley billionaire whose ex-wife took half his money and even more of his faith. When a sizzling back-alley encounter cues Jonathan in to Brandon’s deep-seated submissive side, he makes the man an offer: Give me six months of your life, and I’ll open your eyes to a whole new world. Though it’s been fifteen years since he escaped his father’s abuse, the damage remains. Comfortable as a Dominant but wary of being hurt again, he resorts to anonymous pickups and occasional six-month contracts with subs seeking only a master, not a lover. Trust seems as far out of reach as his dream of becoming an architect, and though he’s come to accept being gay, he can’t deny the shame and confusion he feels at other urges—the deeply-repressed desire to submit. Brandon doesn’t care about that; all he wants is the three million dollars Jonathan’s offering so he can buy the construction company he works for. Give me six months, and I'll give you the world. Brandon McKinney has scraped and sacrificed for what little in life he’s ever had. But he soon learns that six months on his knees is no easy feat, and shame and pride may keep him from all he ever wanted—and all he never dreamed he had any right to have.
Pushed the envelope in a very good way If the term "cherik" means anything to you, you may well enjoy this book. That is, if you also like super kinky gay BDSM.. "Very Intense & Not For the Weak of Heart" according to J. Faltys. This was an incredibly intense read both mentally and physically and I'm literally exhausted after reading it. As a reader of a few books based in the world of BDSM I thought I knew what to expect, but this book completely caught me off guard. The scenes were of a level I never read before and won't be something I soon forget. And with this being the first book in the Power Play series this experience isn't over yet.Jonathon and Brandon's relationships starts off innocently enough with a drink at a bar where Brandon clearly seems to be the one in control, but things soon change completely and Bran. "Amazingly intense read" according to Riane Holt. As reviewed on Kinky Book ReviewsBDSM has two mantras, if you will, Safe, Sane and Consensual, and RACK (Risk Aware Consensual Kink). I will be honest and say that, for me, this book pushed both of those as far as possible, but luckily never broke them. Is that a good or bad thing? I'm still trying to decide. The story's premise, in my opinion, sounds awesome. An experienced Dom, a billionaire to boot, taking an inexperienced, unknown sub and showing him the options available to him. While reading this book, I laughed, cried, bounced for joy, squirmed in excitement, panted with arousal, cringed in

She's also a sadist with a pesky conscience, shamelessly silly, and quite proudly pervish. Fortunately, all those things make writing a lot more fun for her if not so much for her characters. When she's not writing, she sings al
From USA Today:"Rachel Haimowitz ah, I adore her from Counterpoint, and she and Cat write darkly twisted heroes. If you want a real dominant man, one who is genuinely dark, go for Jonathan.""This book is BDSM at its best." --Hearts on Fire Reviews"An exceptionally intense story of what it really means to have a power exchange between two people. A stunning book." --Mrs Condit & Friends Read Books"The most intense BDSM book I have ever read."--Joyfully Jay . Power Play: Resistance was a treat for me
