DESCRIPTION:
Designed by the British naval engineer George Thurston, she was the fourth and last battlecruiser of the Kongo class, among the most heavily armed ships in any navy when built.. Haruna, named after Mount Haruna, was a warship of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War I and World War II
Targeted to 1/350 scale, but suitable for all other scales….This book is a must-have for anyone building a model of the IJN fast battleship Haruna. Very highly recommended for building IJN fast battleship class models (ipms) . An ultimate and highly detailed modeler’s guide to building IJN Haruna in late 1944 fit. It allows for super-accurate super detailing, probably more than most modelers can handle. Well worth the cost
The text lets this one down somewhat Jim Davis This is the 15th book in Kagero's excellent and groundbreaking Super Drawings in 3D series (No. 16015). It is an 8-1/4" x 11-3/4" stapled card cover with 80 pages of interior text and color throughout. I say interior pages because the page numbering includes the card covers for reasons that escape me as the interior covers are blank. The book has all the strengths of the other books in this series, name. Superb illustration Nosaj It's ship modeller's book. Love the deluxe printing. Excellent details that let you see details what's not found on normal plans, to really spice up your model. Would have given 5 stars if it were to incorporate the original as built configuration & various rebuilt throughout her life, maybe not in indepth detail as the final configuration, but may be just the bridge area so that we can see the progres. Great reference for model builders This book like others in the series provide a great reference for model builders. The book includes a little operational history as well as all drawings are computer 3D rendered and very detailed.
